At this stage in the game we are just looking and planning. It is a numbers game and we are sort of arguing about where the priorities should be. Of course I am thinking that I want to do the kitchen sooner rather than later. Kate sort of found this place that has tempered glass shower doors in Essex county NJ and she has decided that she has to have this particular thing. Of course this is not just any random shower door. It is is something rather fancy. I have never seen one like it and the guy at the shop said it was a Euro something I think. Maybe he said it was a Euro roller, I do not know exactly what they call it. It is pretty nice and it is not going to be very easy to put it it in from what it appears to me.
This is a big piece of tempered glass which is probably six feet high, three feet wide and a quarter of an inch thick. It is set in this polished stainless steel frame which probably adds a bit of weight on top of what all that glass weighs. In fact I was telling Kate that the right time of idiot could probably send himself to the emergency room if he tried to put that in by himself. It looks as though that would be nearly impossible though. One person would not ever be able to manage the weight of this thing and successfully get it in to the right position to be installed. You are going to need a at least two reasonably strong people who are capable of working together. One of them would have to hold the thing up and the other would have to guide it in to place and set it right.
